Welcome to Ridgewood Physical Therapy
Ridgewood Physical Therapy was established in 2003 with one purpose in mind: to continually provide the best care to each individual patient. Our physical therapy staff is experienced in treating patients suffering from acute, chronic and disabling conditions that prevent them from living an active and healthy lifestyle. Our physical therapists treat people of all ages, including children and elderly individuals. Our goal is to help improve the mobility that you need to move forward with your life.
Our physical therapists will teach you how to prevent or manage your health condition, and most importantly, keep you motivated throughout your treatment program so you can function at your best. Our team of physical therapists will also work with you to help you understand your body so you will achieve long-term health benefits.

During your initial evaluation, your physical therapist will examine you and develop a plan of care using a variety of treatment techniques that help you move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. Your physical therapist can also help you prevent loss of mobility and motion by developing a fitness and wellness oriented program tailored to your specific needs.
During your initial evaluation with us, your physical therapist will:- Review your medical history
- Perform a physical evaluation
- Evaluate your flexibility, strength, balance and coordination
- Examine how you perform functional activities and your body mechanics
- Set goals and design a specific exercise program based on your injury or condition
- Teach you how to perform exercises at home
We know how valuable each patient’s time is therefore we try to run as close to schedule as possible.
